It only costs 395,- annually for your club to be a member of Danske Tursejlere. And we're not talking per member but per club!
Besides the fact that your club will contribute to supporting the political work that Danske Tursejlere undertakes for the benefit of Danish sailors, there are a number of other positive arguments that are worth considering:
Discounts for your members
If your club is a member of Danske Tursejlere, all club members pay only DKK 430 in membership fees, which includes liability insurance. This gives your members a DKK 50 discount on liability insurance with Danske Tursejlere.
Sailing courses
We run a number of courses, primarily in VHF and channel sailing. The courses are held in collaboration with our member clubs, where DT is responsible for financing and planning. In practice, this means that your club can offer members and other interested parties courses in your club without having to take financial risks and without having to spend time on planning.
Lecture on touring sailing
We also regularly organize lecture evenings with various exciting themes within touring sailing. These lectures are also planned in collaboration with our member clubs, so you can offer your members a little extra social and professional spice to your winter program - again without having to plan or finance
Visit from Danish Touring Sailors
We are also happy to stand on the "beer crate" and give lectures on sailing tours based on Danish Touring Sailors' member offers such as Fairway buoys in your local area, insurance, etc.

If your club needs legal advice or you have an exciting project that needs funding, we're here to help. There's plenty of money to be made from the funds, but you just need to know how. We know how! We can help point you in the right direction and give you a few tips on which foundations you can apply to.
The practicalities
When a club decides to become a member of Danske Tursejlere, the club draws up membership lists of the club members who wish to become members of Danske Tursejlere.
Each member pays DKK 430,- for their personal membership. This means that they receive a discount of DKK 50 when joining the club. Once payment has been made, each paying member has liability insurance. Every year in December, the club receives a list from Danske Tursejlere containing the names of the club members we have registered. The club list is returned with any corrections and applied to new members.
Collective or individual enrollment?
Several clubs have chosen to go all the way and collectively enroll all club members with boats in Danske Tursejlere. The club then charges the cost to the individual member. However, this requires a special agreement, so contact us if this solution could be interesting for you.
The club ensures that all boats in the club are covered by liability insurance in the event of damage to other boats on land and in port. As you know, liability insurance comes with membership of Danske Tursejlere. Most ports already require boat owners to have liability insurance, but it is often a lot of work to enforce this requirement. The club avoids this with collective membership of DT.
