We work for you
In addition to providing you with these attractive membership benefits, we also work to make recreational boating an exciting and safe activity through a wide range of initiatives and key issues. We also represent our members' interests in e.g. the Danish Maritime Safety Council, the Danish Outdoor Council, the Danish Maritime Authority, the European Boating Association, Nordbåt, Blue Flag jury etc.
Danske Tursejleres has a partnership agreement with Dansk Sejlunion and the Association of Marinas in Denmark (FLID). Among other things, this means that we as sailors work together to create the best conditions at the harbor and on the water.
*The contributionto the guarantee fund is a consequence of the establishment of the "Guarantee Fund for uninsured or unknown vessels under 15 meters", and amounts to DKK 50,-.
After the Danish Parliament on May 15, 2018 passed the new law on compulsory liability insurance for certain vessels (L 175), a speed surcharge may be charged if the vessel is covered by this legislation. For these vessels, a speed surcharge will be charged in addition to the regular membership fee to Danske Tursejlere, which includes our basic liability insurance:
- Speed surcharge up to 20 knots: DKK 200,-.
- Speed surcharge 21 - 30 knots: DKK 400,-.
- Speed surcharge 31 - 45 knots: DKK 800,-.
*For medlemmer bosat uden for Danmark opkræves et portogebyr på 150 DKK om året ved tilvalg af Tursejleren i trykt form.
